Description
Hey all. Neat little 8" Westinghouse. See pictures for the most accurate description. The numbers on the bottom are 1 721628 D1 Plugged in and turned on, the motor starts BUT it sounds/appears that it's binding up somewhere. Assume this fan is for decorative purposes. Now saying that, fan is very complete and mechanically speaking it has everything in order to operate. I assume a little know how and elbow grease may be able to turn this little guys fate around. I've never worked on Westinghouse. But I've had quite a few Eskimos and similar oscillating fans. And simply disconnecting the oscillating function from the motor that drives it, puts enough power to where you want it. The fan blades. Smal crack in the casting on back of fan. (See pics). Purely cosmetic.
