Description

This made in England all original Dinky Toy 1949 Ford Army command car is truly outstanding with only some very light rubbing on the original decal stars. The paint has no chips or rub marks, the tires are perfect, and the base is perfect and faded. This car was one of several civilian dinky toys that was repainted in olive drab color and exported to the United States in 1952 and 1953 making it quite scarce, and particularly in this condition. Shine a light inside and see the molded in FORD SEDAN under the roof which is a scarce feature. The small lettering on the base indicates that this is one of the first issue sent to the U.S. before it was changed to #675. Check out the photos to confirm the condition.
